Jonathan Ramirez '24 Recruiting Profile

 Baseball has given me the opportunity to build a strong character and taught me valuable life skills such as dedication, perseverance, and loyalty. I have learned to be a team player and seek the good of the team instead of self glory. I consider myself a leader that has a positive impact on my teams. One of my favorite things about the sport is the lasting friendships I’ve built over the years and how I’ve learned to connect and work with different people and personalities.
     I believe one of my advantages in baseball is being a left handed pitcher, while having the ability to not get rattled when I am pitching. As a starting/relief pitcher, I love to get ahead in the count, set the tone, and take control of the game. I have learned the importance of having several great off-speed pitches and with every batter, I  develop a plan to remember their past at-bats and swing.
   I believe I have a lot to offer and  I am looking forward to being part of a college team and getting a higher education at the same time. I have strong Christian values ,and would like to grow as a person, faith, and as a student athlete.
