Charles McBride '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing baseball nearly all my life and while I played other sports, baseball has always been my passion.  I have always played with the goal of getting to the next level.  I started in rec ball with the goal of making a travel ball team by 7th grade.  While participating in travel ball, I had the goal of making my high school team.  Now, in my first year of high school ball, I have my sights on collegiate ball.

I work hard on and off the field, working on my craft with the goal of getting better.  I regularly work out with goals, I attend pitching and hitting lessons, I consistently make practices and I do this while maintaining excellent grades.  I have a strong work ethic and take pride in my academic accomplishments in addition to taking pride in my athletic progress on the field.  I am coachable, accept constructive criticism and learn from my mistakes.  

I am open to all options at this point.  I feel I would be an asset to many college teams with my strong work ethic and ability to commit to hard work.  I look forward to what lies ahead and am ready to continue working toward this next goal of being a pitcher on a college baseball team.
