Tassos Foster '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a driven and focused baseball player from Novato, California. I love the game and have continued to improve my game as a high school player with the goal of earning an opportunity to play baseball at a strong academic and athletic university where I can develop and grow as a player and student. My ultimate goal is to play professional baseball.

Every time I’m on the field I push myself to get better, both physically and mentally. As an infielder I have good range and footwork, with excellent hands and a solid arm.  In addition, I have a high baseball IQ and am always ready to react as the play evolves. At the plate I always have a plan for each at-bat. I have a good eye for the strike zone, and am disciplined and patient when looking for my pitch.  While I always encourage my teammates in the dugout and on the field, I prefer to lead by my actions.

Outside of baseball I am a straight A student (4.0 GPA), with a strong work ethic and excellent study habits. I enjoy a range of subjects, but I excel at science, mathematics and visual arts. Next year, I will be enrolled in 3 AP courses (English, History, Biology).  At Novato High I am a student in the Marin School of the Arts (MSA) program for the performing arts, where I study photography and drawing along with my normal coursework.
