Cage Work - 10/2021Baseball is more than a game for me. It has been my passion since I first put on a glove and started playing at the age of 3. I have always had a true appreciation for the game of baseball and everything it has to offer. I love the team aspect of the game and the connections with teammates and coaches. The relationships I have made in the sport will last a lifetime. I quickly learned that one player can only take a team so far, but that every player needs to be willing to put in the work and do their part for the team to truly succeed. I consider myself a student of the game and l enjoy learning and improving from having a better understanding of the small details that have such huge impacts on being successful.
Now that I am a Freshman in high school, I not only have aspirations on the field, but off the field as well. I am hoping that if I continue to work hard in the class and on the diamond that I may eventually have an opportunity to play at the next level. That's why when I am looking for college options, I am not only looking for a school with a competitive baseball program, but a school that will push me to be the best I can be on the field and in the classroom in an effort to build my future. I am hoping to continue to learn and to progress over these next 4 years. I have learned a lot about leadership, teamwork, and sacrifice to be able to help any college team that gives me an opportunity.
