Matthew Rosen '22 Recruiting Profile

I stand out and apart from other excellent candidates for your program due to not only my athletic profile and academics, but my character. I am a leader, driven to be both goal-oriented and competitive while maintaining good sportsmanship and camaraderie. I strive to have a winning season, and will do everything I'm able to help the team achieve that end result.  Athletically-speaking, I am versatile on the field, hit for both power and average, and always hustle, whether that is to stretch a single into a double or just going onto-and-off of the diamond. In high school, I was very involved in my community/county, volunteering at events such as a soup kitchen, a 10K run , and a Veteran's Day memorial event. Between baseball, basketball, and extracurriculars, I had a very busy schedule, yet I maintained a 3.8 unweighted GPA (4.2 weighted) while taking Honors/AP courses. As for my collegiate goals, here are a few important items that I'm going to accomplish: -maintain at least a 3.7 (A-) GPA  -get involved in extracurriculars/clubs  -work hard to become Captain   -acquire my undergraduate degree with minimal debt

With that said, I look forward to 2021, and I'm ready to get back in uniform and play ball!!
