August 2018Growing up not having the opportunity to play baseball as a kid really pushed me to work hard to get where I am today, and it wasn’t always easy, for me a peak in my little league career had to be playing in the 13U Pony International World Series. It’s an amazing feat to accomplish but I didn’t always or at all get the opportunity to play so it taught me you can be good but you can always be better, to this day I’m thankful to have been placed in that position because it taught me to never settle and always want more, wether that be academically, on the field or pushing the team to do more, something I take pride in is not only making myself better but my teammates you are only as good as your weakest player. Another thing I take pride in has to be taking ownership for mistakes or problems I am faced with, the almost guaranteed way to succeed is to try again.
