Andrew Shanks '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andrew Shanks, a senioor at Foothill High School in Palo Cedro, CA and I am a pitcher, outfielder, and first baseman. I always try my hardest on the field and I always remember to be respectful to coaches, and I am always a good teammate and I always support my teammates, regardless of the situation.  There is always room for improvement, and that is my mindset while I am working on my game. It doesn't matter if I think I'm doing well, I know that I always need to try harder and hone my skills in order to play baseball in college. I train hard practically every day, and I always make sure that my fundamentals are in good condition so I don't get into bad habits. School must be put before sports, and I always make sure all of my schoolwork is done before I go and play ball, and I always try my hardest to get the best grades that I can. In college, I would like to major in business and my goal for baseball is to play Division I-NAIA baseball.
