I have wanted to play baseball and take baseball as far as I can go no matter how I get there for as long as I can remember. I work hard and put in extra hours after practice because I know that is what it takes. Coaches always tell me that I am very coachable and that I pick up feedback quick. Being part of a team means being there for each other in the fun times and the hard times and I am that player, my teammates are my brothers. When I pitch, I hyper focus and able to drown out the noise. I grew up in Laguna Beach, so surfing is my hobby. I think it has helped my pitching because of my upper body strength is using different muscles than any other sport. Surfing has also helped my balance. As a freshmen, I also play outside backer and inside receiver on the varsity football team. I have to work hard in school because I have dyslexia and ADD, but that has taught me to study and work hard in school before other kids had to study. If I'm on the field or in class, I'm working and I'm not scared to do it. I just want to play ball.
