My first time playing baseball, I fell in love. I love the excitement of the crack of the bat, striking players out, and catching fly balls. To play collegiate baseball would be a lifelong dream accomplishment. I know it will positively impact me for the rest of my life.
In the classroom, I strive daily to perform to the best of my abilities and achieve the highest grades possible. I view the classroom as another field of competition and strive to be the best.
On the field, I strive to be a leader and role model, but I know I must learn to follow my coach’s lead in order to become a complete leader. I am coachable and always open minded to any changes that I can make that will improve me as a player. I believe that my teammates are my brothers in arms and together we can accomplish anything we set out to do.
I hope to attend a college that will continue to challenge me both in the classroom and on the field at the highest possible level. I look forward to meeting all expectations that are placed on me as a student and player. I want to continue growing as a student, leader, role model, and team mate and become the best possible representative from whatever college that decides to accept me into their family. I thank my family for giving me every opportunity to succeed and every college that decides to evaluate me as a potential student athlete.
