Jake Smith '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'0", 160 lbs., middle infielder from San Marcos California. I go to San Marcos high school where I am a starter on the varsity baseball team as a junior;year, played mostly JV as a sophmore where I was the team captain and MVP, but also played as the only sophmore at my school on Varsity for parts of the season; and was the only freshmen to make the JV team in the 2010 season. I have a 3.86 GPA and am in all honors and AP classes as a freshmen, sophmore, and this year as a junior. Ideally I am keeping my options open to all college opportunities and desire to play at the highest level I possibly can. I take tremendous pride in what I do and I want to be able to lead and make a difference to my team. Therefore, I will continue to work as hard as I possibly can to reach my goals on and off the field.
