I started playing ball at the age of 3 and I never stopped. It's been my passion, since day one. Some people say, "You will change your mind;" other say, "There's too much competition out in the real world." I've never let the negative remarks get to me. I know what I want and I will not stop until I accomplish it.
I've always dreamed of playing at the collegiate level. I understand that playing baseball in the college level takes a lot of hard work and dedication, but that doesn't scare me; if anything, it just gives me more fuel to work even harder. It will be a once in a lifetime opportunity that will change my life forever.
My parents have always been a huge part of my education. Nothing will make me happier than to have them sitting on those bleachers one day, while playing baseball in college. I am super passionate about this sport and I hope to get into a great school one day.
I know that in baseball, one cannot win the game; it takes a team to get there. Over the years, I've helped my coaches motivate my teammates as team captain. I never like to make anyone feel belittled. I want everyone in my team to succeed because it is the only way.
