Anthony Mase '19 Recruiting Profile

Anthony Mase is a 2019 commit to Davidson College.  Anthony has been named an Under Armour Pre-Season All American (twice) and nationally ranked by Perfect Game. Stats include a 60-yard time of 6.65, MIF velocity of 88 mph, broad jump 9'10'' and an exit velocity of 95 mph as a 17-year-old.

Invited to the 2019 PG World Showcase in Florida and the UA Pre-Season All America Games, both for top players nationally only.  Played in the Top-Prospect PBR California Showcase 2018 (MIF), Top Prospect List PG National Academic Showcase 2018 and Top Prospects List UA Southwest Tournament, CA 2018. 

A four-year varsity shortstop for the Buckley School who as named team Captain, team MVP for 2017 and 2018 seasons (sophmore and junior year), 2017 and 2018 First Team All League, 2018 First Team All-CIF Southern Section (junior year), and 2017 All-CIF Southern Section Second Team (sophmore year).  Junior year slugging .901 (2018) placing #11 in all of California on MaxPreps for all 2018 Junior Players.

Club teams included GBG Marucci and Under Armour Baseball Factory Team One.  Named MVP of the 2017 Omaha National World Series and MVP at the AZ Junior Fall Championships for Baseball Factory Team One. Named to the All-Tournament Team at the PG Fall National Team Championships in AZ playing for GBG Marucci.

Anthony played shortstop for USA Baseball North Texas Team 16u in Cary, NC and selected to participate in the UA National Showcase Texas, the super-qualifier in Katy, TX for the 2018 Under Armour All-America Games in Chicago.
