I am a Senior in high school with the goals of thousands of other athletes around the country, working to get to the next level of baseball and make a name for myself against all the people who say it's not possible and the chances are too slim. I am determined to prove them wrong and how work ethic and dedication will make me the athlete I want to be. I feel I'm different from other athletes because I have the desire to win as a team and not as an individual. If I succeed and my team fails, it isn't about how good I did, it's about what I could do to help my team do better even if I'm not on the field for every out. In regards to academics, I've pushed myself as hard in the classroom as I have on the field. I spend extra time on tutoring, college prep classes and studying because that is what will carry me through life. My grades come first because if I don't have the grades, I can't play the sport I love.
