Gavin Whitney '23 Recruiting Profile

My entire life I have always wanted to not only pursue a college degree, but also play my favorite sport, baseball, also.  I’ve always been extremely interested in the medical field because human anatomy has always fascinated me, and my mom is a nurse. Throughout my school career I have been very involved with my school’s FCA, trying to become a deeper Christian, I also have taken every extra science and math class possible. I have been playing baseball since I was three, never missing a season. Not only do I have a great work ethic, I also am a believer in hard work pays off. My dad has taught me a look of valuable lessons during my life. He also has taught me the importance of preserving through hard times and the usefulness of manual labor.
