Started playing at age 6.  Has been my passion ever since.  It's not just competing and being the best that I can be out on the mound, and yet it is all those things.  It's also so much more.   It's the smells, the sounds, the atmosphere, the life, the grind, your teammates.   The determination.  The pain, the self-inflicted torture, pushing yourself further to be stronger, faster, smarter!     The incredible highs and the bitter taste of the lows that sear into your brain.  Every play, every inning, every game, every year.  Etched.  Indelible.  Total recall.    I love this game!
