My name is Wade Shaver. I play varsity baseball at Joshua Springs Christian School. Last year, as a freshman, I batted .426 and drove in 20 runs. I was named our team's Offensive MVP. I played on a travel team during the summer of 2012, called the 29 Palms Magic. It was coached by Jack Carter and Mike Fontana. This season, I am leading the team in every offensive category and was selected as a captain as a sophmore. Over the offseason, I plan on lifting weights and running sprints to get both stronger and faster. I also plan on working to become more agile. I currently play 1st base and pitch, but I am working to become a middle infielder or corner outfielder. I hope to play Division 1 baseball while pursuing a major in either political science or history. I plan on joining the Peace Corps after college, and just trying to help the less fortunate. Thank you for looking at my profile.
