My goal is to play baseball at the college level. I have always wanted to play baseball in college, even as a younger player in little league. Recently, after playing one of my best tournaments, I knew at that point I had the ability and the desire to play baseball at a higher level. I am the type of player who will give my all no matter the venue: practice, live game, I am all in. Additionally, I value the importance of being a team player on the field, and off the field. I bring energy to the team no matter what the situation, winning or losing, my focus and attitude is the same. I step up when needed, and work best under pressure. I love to work my body to the limit , it gives me the confidence, and ability to perform at my best on the field. I set high goals, always striving to be better as a player and a person. Its important to earn the respect of my coaches and the players around me. My belief is not to brag but to perform, your actions speak loud enough. When it comes to the classroom, grades are as important, if not more important than my baseball career. I want to become a commercial pilot one day, that requires hard work and a lot of effort. Finally, I will work hard on the field, off the field, and in the classroom. My goal is to be part of a great collage with a strong baseball program. I give my word, I will work harder than anyone, on the field, off the field, and in the classroom. My ask, just give me a chance to earn a spot on your team.
Sincerely
Luke McCarthy
