I am passionate and coachable. I am a good teammate who wants all of my team to be successful.
I was adopted at 7 months old and understand the opportunity and blessings I have been given athletically. While baseball has always been a passion and came easily to me at a young age, I have had to struggle and work hard to be my best as the talent level around me increased. Coach Carlos is working hard with me to help me develop.
On the school side, it never came as easily and I have had to develop strong study habits as I got older to prevent me from falling behind.
When you talk about character I think about my family and my upbringing. I have 2 older siblings and 4 younger siblings in my family. One of my sisters, Piper, was born with Down Syndrome and that has helped me to understand what hard work looks like as she has worked at her speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy in order to be able to be in a typical classroom school. When I think about wanting to become a physical therapist, I think in person about helping others like Piper, and not just athletes recovering from injuries in their career.
