Personal Statement
I am completely determined and committed to play college baseball at the highest level possible – my commitment includes choosing to live apart from my family (beginning my sophomore year) 3,000 miles away at a baseball academy boarding school for high school to achieve my academic and athletic goals.
Baseball is a sport that I love and have grown up playing. My goals I set for myself are to be a student of the game, always give 100% and push through diverse situations, and to hustle everywhere on the ball field.
I would make a strong candidate for any college team because I'm a well-rounded offensive and defensive player, that will contribute to any team and teammates I play for/with. I also am a good team player that will help my teammates overcome times of adversity.
I stand out from other recruits because I truly embrace and love to learn on- and off-the-field. I’m constantly trying to get better every single day at everything I do in baseball, academics and in life. In baseball, I continuously am working on swing refinements, better infield footwork, taking time off my 60, etc. In the classroom, I challenge myself at the highest level with taking multiple honors/AP classes and have been on a double-math acceleration path since I was in 6th grade. I grind each day to put forth my very best effort in baseball, academics, and workouts to set myself up for the opportunity to play in college, and hopefully farther.
