March 2025As a baseball player, I have experienced and overcome many challenges in my baseball journey. At age 13, I moved away from my family in Toronto, Canada to attend IMG Academy in Florida and pursue my dream of playing college baseball. It wasn’t easy, but I worked hard in school and at baseball. That year I was inducted into the Junior National Honor Society and won my first Golden Glove Award, while also learning how to do my laundry. I kept working hard as a student athlete in the years that followed, becoming a well respected teammate and a coachable athlete known for my commitment and dedication to both my sport and education. I made the honour roll and won another Golden Glove award. By my third year at IMG, I was playing on the Junior Varsity team. I enjoy volunteering for a variety of causes, participating as a member of the National Honor Society, and being a leader and motivator for younger baseball players at IMG through the peer mentorship program. My strong work ethic, belief in myself, and ability to overcome obstacles and adversity will make me an asset to any baseball program.
