Benino Mendella '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello. My name is Benino Mendella. I am a Senior at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.  I am 5'10 and 165 pounds.  I play and OF and 2nd base. I bat and throw right handed. I am played summer ball with The Scorpions West out of Sarasota, Florida.  

I am coach-able, loyal and dedicated. I am always willing to learn.  I have a great work ethic.  My sophomore year was my first year away from home.  I was 15 and I learned to manage my time between academics as well as sport and every day life.  I finished my sophomore year with a 4.5 GPA and I won the Gold Glove award for OF and in the summer I won WWBA All-Tournament Hitting award. I finished my junior year with a 4.5 GPA and I won the Gold Glove Utility.  This summer I won the WWBA All-Tournament Hitting.
