Personal Statement
The first time I picked up a baseball back in 2010 at Interbay Little League, I knew that I was meant to play this game. And, even to this day, I still get that same intense feeling when I run onto the field.
As a two-sport athlete I have learned that failing is not the end but only the beginning to try again. Baseball challenges me to fight back and do better the next time. I grew up moving from place to place with both of my parents assigned to different military institutions. Mental and physical toughness is part of my design and make up. I have both the talent and the will to be successful.
Attending college and playing baseball are privileges that I must not take for granted. And that’s why it’s equally important to find the right fit for my academic and athletic needs. I would like to attend a college where I can excel in the classroom and on the field.
