Brandon Gielow '19 Recruiting Profile

It has always been a goal of mine to play college level baseball.  I respect this game more than anything.  I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old and really found a passion for the game when I started playing travel ball at 12 years old.  I've learned it takes perseverance and drive to get better to compete in this sport, you can't expect success to come to you, you have to make success happen.  I work daily on hitting and getting stronger in the wt. room.  I also am working with a pitching coach.  I  strive to reach a personal new level when I step out on the baseball field and try to learn from my mistakes.  As a freshman I started on Varsity as a LF and LHP.  It is important to me to be a good example on and off the field, to play with integrity and respect.  I also understand the importance of success off the field.  My high school goal is to graduate with a 3.25 or higher.  Working  for good grades and being involved in clubs and community will help prepare me for college and life.  A college degree is important to me because my future will depend upon my education and training in school.
