Ronnie Hopper '21 Recruiting Profile

I am an extremely dedicated and conscientious individual who always strives to be the absolute best person I can be, whether it is in my personal life, academic efforts, or my baseball career.  I take nothing for granted.  I am thankful for every opportunity ever offered to me and I try to "give back" in everything I do.  I recently received the David Lee Award for my performance on the Eustis High School Varsity Baseball Team during my sophomore year.  This award, which honors the memory of Coach David Lee, is awarded to someone who embodies all the things Coach Lee instilled in his players (Respect, Discipline, Leadership, Teamwork, Heart, Hard Work, and Effort).  I am dedicated and determined to pursue a college scholarship to play in a baseball program where I can contribute to a team that shares the same values I have.  I am recognized for overcoming tremendous adversity two short years ago and am known for my motto "Never Give Up."  I am primarily the starting catcher for the teams I currently play for, but am eager to play wherever my coach or team needs me.  I appreciate every opportunity to showcase my abilities and more importantly, my character.   Thank you, Ronnie
