Personal Statement
My goal is to play baseball at the collegiate level. I will greatly appreciate any college offer. I believe I would be a good candidate for any team because I'm respectful, hardworking, and coachable. I am different from most other athletes because of the training that I receive from The Data Cage in Jacksonville, FL. I put more emphasis on the strength training and the movements rather than only focusing on taking swings. I feel that I improve by learning and understanding the mechanics of my swing. I am self-motivated and believe that it takes hard work to achieve any goal. I attend a school for the advanced studies because I feel that knowledge is the key to being successful. I love to be challenged on and off the field. I have managed to make good grades while participating in sports since elementary school. My passion for baseball comes from watching my uncles play high school baseball when I was a small child. My t-ball team won the city championship when I was 7 years old and my middle school won the city championship when I was an 7th grader at James Weldon Johnson College Preparatory School. I helped my high school team at Paxon School for the Advanced Studies reach regional finals this year for the first time in almost ten years. There is no feeling like being a contributor and walking away a winner.
