Personal Statement
I have been given plenty of obstacles In and outside of my baseball career and I overcame them all and became a stronger version of myself. I played baseball for a hobby and for fun since i was 5 all the way up to the end of middle school. I ended up fracturing my foot my 8th grade year and that put me out of the sport i loved for almost 1 year and a half. I missed my 9th and 10th grade season due to that injury. My rehabilitation process put alot of pressure on me, I worked hard everyday my 11th grade off season to get back into the sport i loved, I had to get back used to being in in-game situations, I was nervous. After my 11th grade year I actually looked at playing baseball for a living and i was more dedicated than ever; I started thinking about college and if i had the potential to go. I got through my junior year of just getting back used to the game. After Junior year i started playing summer ball and training everyday just driving myself to get better so i can be on the level to finally get the chance of playing college baseball. My goal at the collegiate level is to continue getting better at my game in a program that competes for championships. I want to play at the highest level where i can make an impact and contribute to my team’s success.
