Ben Schreffler '27 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing baseball and loving it since it was 4 years old. Baseball to me is a game where I learn new skills from coaches or from games, and I apply it to my craft and get better. On and off the field I’m communicative, reliable, and hard working. I don’t put myself first because it is a team game. I’m interested in Florida colleges and universities but I am open to any offers/colleges, the opportunity to play college ball is more than enough. My baseball experience includes playing 8 years of rec ball and 2 years of competitive travel ball. I’m currently playing on my high school summer team. I am very coachable, so when a coach sees something and tries to change it, I do whatever he says. I learn from that and bring it into games and I work on it. My worth ethic is what has got me to this point and I think that plays a huge part in baseball to be better in my craft. My realistic athletic goal is to make a junior varsity team in my freshman year when I tryout, and by my third year to make varsity. Whatever college I go to I will put in the work and do what I can to help our team win.
