Hello, my name is DeAmez Filipe' Ross and I have the aspirations to play college baseball. As my father played college baseball and my uncles played college football. Hearing all the story and seeing lifetime friends has given me the will power and interest to continue my college future at a greater scale. The most important criteria, is the academics that takes place at a college or university that can pave your way to success in life. As I hear my father tell me that he received a baseball scholarship which he graduated and received a degree in B.A. and he then pursued his Masters Degree in Severe Disabilities.
My goal is not only to play college baseball but earn a degree and to become a Pharmacist. Currently, I am a freshman at Eau Gallie HS in Melbourne, FL. I am holding a 3.4-4.0 average. I was selected to enter the Collegiate High School Program or (dual enrollment) at our local community college. If successful, I will not only earn my High School Diploma but my A.A. or 2 year Associate Degree.
I feel, I will make a good candidate for your team due to my perseverance, commitment, and dedication to be the best and make the best thing out of very little. I feel that my personality and my confidence will go a long way in playing a role as a future college athlete. I feel that baseball is a game of many challenges and disappointments. You have to be tough enough to accept constructive criticism in this game of failure. Baseball also builds character, discipline, and adversities. It does not matter where you start, but how well you finish.
