My goals as a student going into college are coming out with a degree and playing/representing the college I attend to in the sport I love baseball. I believe I am a great candidate for your college due to the leadership and discipline I have gained over the years. I have learned to put my academics first while not neglecting my responsibilities to my team. I'm in the full Cambridge program in my school and I currently hold a 4.6 GPA while practicing/ training 6 times a week in the off-season and practice/games during the regular season. To do so time management is key. I started playing baseball at the age of 3 and have worked hard to develop my skills as a player. In the years that I have been playing the sport of baseball, I have learned to be a great student and an excellent son. I have also learned that there is more losing than winning which has shown me that having a good mentality and baseball IQ is extremely important in the sport. I have been playing varsity since I was a freshman in high school. I attend Everglades High School, I am the starting second baseman and also play shortstop for my team while hitting fourth in the lineup.
