I am a 6’ 4” 220 Lbs Catcher and First Baseman from Navarre Florida. I was selected as the starting catcher for the Navarre Florida High School Varsity team on my third year of High School. Varsity Season was a success with a .370 Batting Average, Slugging of .611, OBP of .568, OPS of 1.179 with 12 RBIs, 15 Base on Balls and 8 strikeouts (1 looking). On the defensive side, I threw out 8 runners (2nd and 3rd Base on 13 steal attempts), was lauded by the school’s head coach for outstanding blocking, framing and play calling.
I have 3.93 GPA and ACT Composite score of 23. My school counselor has already started an academic plan with me and I will have completed my 16 core courses by the 7th Semester to include English, Math and Science. Rest assure that my education accomplishments will not be an issue. I’m looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between academics and playing baseball. Academics is very important to me. My parents are both educators and have instilled in me the importance of getting a college education so I can fulfill my goals and aspirations in life. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of Fitness and Conditioning, Physical Education Teaching and Coaching or Sports Management. My aspirations are to become a Professional Baseball player however if that does not pan out, then I want to have a college degree where I can continue to work in sports especially the game that I love, BASEBALL. I know that with my abilities I can make an immediate impact on a team; give me a chance and I will not let you down, I am the first player to arrive at the park and the last one to leave. I do hitting and catchers drill every week either at my home or on the baseball field. I’m a very dedicated student and athlete!
