I've been playing baseball since I was about 5 years old. Since my first game I fell in love. I haven't been much of a multi sport person so I have been set on baseball since. Being a pitcher it makes me understand the game more and it is a great feeling being on the mound. So many aspects of the game are in your hands such as the tempo, the attitude, as well as the overall result of the game. Not to say that a loss is always a pitchers fault, but pitchers are the only players to have a wins and loss category. I do not like losing, it is a terrible feeling however poor sportsmanship is not acceptable just because you lose. I would love to be a professional baseball player; as do many collegiate players, however I would like to have an engineering degree as my backup plan so that I can have a career in which I love, as well as live comfortably with.
