Carlos "Rocco" Mendez '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a goal oriented student athlete with a very strict discipline ethic. I have always being one of the hardest working player in every team since I can remember. As an example, I shed 64 lbs early in high school to make sure I would be faster.  

I love to compete and the feeling of winning, but above all the importance of getting better as a player and seeing goals attained. Seeing my teammates get better and competitively compete at games drives me to wake up every morning and work harder that day. 

Academically, I won't fail, I have very strong moral and ethics that have been embedded in me from a military background family. I will adapt and overcome to any challenge. I'm flexible to the teams needs but my character doesn't flex.
