Personal Statement
I'm working hard everyday to earn an opportunity to play college level baseball. Ultimately, I would like to attend a university where I can continue my baseball career and further my education while experiencing campus life.
At most every level of athletics, I've been told by coaches that in addition to my size/strength/abilities, my character, emotional control and attitude set me apart. I'm raised to respect God, myself, my family, my teachers and my baseball family. My parent's stopped talking to my coaches FOR me years ago. If something needs to be discussed, I'm expected to communicate with our coaching staff, teammates and teachers myself.
[ABOUT JOE FROM PAST COACHES]
SUMMER 2020 COACH: Joe is a natural leader. When I challenge him to step up, he takes initiative and follows through. A great example for our other players.
2018/2019 CLUB TEAM COACH: Joe's character is something that separates him from the rest. I really like how he can turn on the goof ball approach and turn it off when it becomes time for business, better than anyone else on our team. His speed has gotten better, hustle is never an issue, he is a good teammate and as far as coachability, he is one of the kids I am a little harder on because I know he is capable of much more.
