I qualify as a graduate-transfer student-athlete as verified by communication with the NCAA under the NCAA rules below my statement:
I pitch my best when getting ahead, locating my fastball inside effectively, keeping hitters off-balance with my changeup and setting up my breaking pitches. I am ultra-competitive and have an aggressive mindset on the mound. I trust my preparation, visualize success and give my focus to each individual pitch.
As a part of the National Championship contending program at the University of Tampa, I made strides in my approach to attack hitters. Applying my mental game and relying on past experiences from William Jewell College and Team USA, I was able to develop into a more complete pitcher in my time at UT. I gained experience pitching against conference rivals like Florida Southern College and Rollins College as well as JUCO programs like the State College of Florida, Polk State College, Eastern Florida, Florida Southwestern, Pasco-Hernando State College, Hillsborough Community College and St. Petersburg College. (2016-2018)
My time in the William Jewell College Baseball Program helped me learn how to compete in a tough Division II Conference, what it means to be a college baseball player and a whole new level of physical and mental toughness. I learned a lot about myself, my drive and my discipline towards the art of pitching. I competed in the Fall against the JUCO programs Kansas City Kansas Community College, Maple Woods Community College and Longwood Community College. Redshirted for Spring Season. (2015-2016)
I feel that the qualities that best describe me are drive, discipline, and vision. My work ethic and commitment to baseball fuel me moving forward.
