Johnny Moran '18 Recruiting Profile

I plan on majoring in business once I attend college. My concentration will probably be accounting, or possibly sports management. Hopefully I can attain employment in a sports related position. As a baseball player, I lead by example. I always give 100% during practice and games. I possess a short, compact swing which allows me to be a gap/line drive hitter, who does not strike out very often. Defensively, I am a catcher who blocks extremely well, calls a good game, and keeps my pitchers comfortable. I can play 2B/3B, and have pitched in relief. I can actually say that my position is "wherever my coach needs me"! I have maintained a 3.3 (3.32 weighted) GPA while playing high school baseball in the spring and fall. During the summer, I play travel ball. Playing baseball at the collegiate level would be an honor and a dream come true!
