Andrew Hayes '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andrew Hayes, and I have been playing baseball since I was 4 years old. My dream is to play at the collegiate level, in a program that is highly competitive. My goals are to get a degree in Sports Management, and go as far as possible in the game of baseball. I have a 3.4 GPA, and will graduate in the class of 2017. I am a LHP, and my secondary positions are 1st base and right field. I have 5 years of Little League experience, 5 years of travel ball experience, and I currently play for my high school team.  At every level, I typically thrive in competitive, pressure filled environments. The attributes I bring to the table are a strong work ethic, the desire to continue to learn and grow in the game of baseball, and a "team first" mentality. I am a two year starter on my varsity team, and have been a starting pitcher, closer, and position player. In my Sophomore year, I was named to 1st Team All-Region, as well as the Athens Banner Herald 2015 All Area Team. Other accomplishments include participation on several showcase teams, in addition to being named to the Perfect Game 2015 BCS Finals All Tournament Team in Ft. Myers, FL.
