Caden Elinburg '25 Recruiting Profile

As an athlete, I have always had a team first mentality. I believe that my success means nothing if I am not doing whatever it takes to help my team where needed. I have been described by my coaches as the glue that keeps the team together. I believe that a team is only as good as the chemistry they have on and off the field. When a team gets that right, they can be successful on the score board! I have very high standards and expectations of myself and believe that as long as I do things the right way (in practice, in games, in life) then good things will happen. I strive to be the best student as well. I pride myself on working hard and respecting the teachers who spend their time working to make me a better learner. I also believe that community is everything and remembering where you come from is important in shaping you as a person. The community I live in is a place that is very important to me and being involved in every way possible to make a difference is a top priority for me. 

I have a dream to play baseball in college while getting my degree in area that will allow me to make a difference in the future. My goal is to become a political figure in the future as a service to my community, my state, and my country. I feel that baseball is an avenue that can help pursue that dream, through learning the intangibles that are taught through the sport that I love.
