My college aspirations are to be a good competitor on the field and do everything I can to help my team while also getting a good degree for my future. One of the biggest reasons I would be a good candidate for a team is that I am a team player and I just want to do what I can to help my team succeed. In addition, I am a multi sport athlete in running cross country for my highschool in order to increase my leg endurance as a pitcher. Also I am an effective pitcher with four pitches I have good command of, being a 2-seam fastball, splitter, knuckle-curve, and changeup, which not many pitchers have. All four of these I use consistently for a strike. My knuckle-curve and splitter are my main go too strikeout pitches and my changeup being a pitch I use to try to upset timing occasionally. Also a trait that makes me different from most guys is that I am a 6'6 lefty which gives me a good advantage from the left side with a long stride and closer release point. Along with that I am very successful with hitting my spots and can accurately hit the corners very consistently. When it comes to character I try to be a mature part of my team. I like being a leader with a calm head and I embrace the failure I have from every game to try and see what I can do better next game. Academically I know I am decently smart but the biggest separater for me is that when I put my mind to doing something I will try my hardest to accomplish that goal, Academically and athletically.
