Jay Moore '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jay Allen Moore aka: El Jay.  I have been playing baseball since I was 4 years old, but I have been swinging a bat since I was 2.  I am a switch hitter, and a left handed pitcher.  Thought my baseball career I have had the opportunity to play all the positions including catcher.  My talents are endless because I am ambidextrous as I can throw the ball with both of my arms, but have decided to master only my left.  If ever needed I can with proper training continue throwing with my right.  The positions I enjoy most in the order of preference are 1st basemen, pitcher and right field.  My personality is cool, collected, humble and respectful.  I am a man of few words, but when excited I can become more talkative.  My grades are exceptional and It will be a pleasure and an honor to be a part of your team.  I dream of becoming a major league player someday and when my career is over I would like to work for ESPN or any sport network as an anchorman or talk show host.  I truly hope you will consider me as one of your players.
