I have been playing baseball since I was 8 years old and have played every position, except catcher. As a freshman in high school, I had the privilege of playing on a team that went back-to-back as the GHSA Class A Public State Champions in 2021 and 2022. I was able to start on third base in the first 10 games due to an injured player. When he returned, I became an alternate--playing when they needed me and cheering on my teammates. I have enjoyed playing on this team and have gained tons of knowledge from my coaches and teammates.
For the 2023 season, as a sophomore, I played third base and pitched on the Varsity team, with just a small amount of time on JV. Just before playoffs, I was struck by a truck on my ATV and broke my left collarbone. Unfortunately, that ended my 2023 season with the Tigers, but I was able to cheer my team on through the Elite 8. Despite my injury in playoffs, I was named our Regions 1st Team All-Region Pitcher...an honor I cherish.
In 2024, as a junior, I am the starting Shortstop and a RHP. I normally play 3rd base, but our Shortstop had to have TommyJohn surgery, so I was moved to Shortstop during his healing, which will probably be most of our season. We have a young freshman team, with only 6 of our entire JV/Varsity teams being upperclassmen. While the team is young, they are talented and we look to have a great season.
My goal is to play baseball in college while getting a quality education. I want to become a Landscape Engineer so that I can build ballfields for other kids to enjoy.
I am a passionate player and very coachable. I have been a leader on my previous teams, but do enjoy letting someone else lead when I have a chance to learn from them.
