~~Since I was a kid, I have grown up having the dream to play collegiate baseball at the best school available for me. It didn’t matter if I was watching baseball, playing in an actual game, or playing in the yard with friends, I knew baseball was my passion.
In speaking about myself, I feel I have qualities that are beneficial to have me on your team. For one, I will always push myself and work harder than anyone else. I am always respectful to my coaches. And I am very coachable, and I am eager to learn new things and I always want to find anything that can help me better myself every day, as a baseball player, teammate, and person. It is important that I stay true to myself when making choices and decisions and I uphold the values I have been taught. I treat my teammates as my own family, and I will help any of my them when they need something, on the field or off. If no one is around, I still do what I’m supposed to be doing, not only as a baseball player, but also as an individual. I don't have to have someone watching me to better myself, work hard, or do the right things. I’m responsible enough to work independently. I am also a leader on and off the field. I will give my coach and my teammates 110% in all I do and I will lead by example.
As for college, I want to be able to go somewhere that I have to challenge myself on the field and in the class room. My hope is to find a winning and competitive program that will push me to obtain this goal. Baseball is my passion but I also recognize that is will assist me as I learn valuable lessons that I can take with me beyond the college setting into life.
