Personal Statement
Attending a university and obtaining a quality education is an important goal in my life. The importance of a good education has been demonstrated by my parents who both posses a graduate degree and have taught me that I can accomplish anything if I have the drive, determination, and courage to begin the journey! My goal in college is to pursue either the field of engineering or accounting and then work hard during college to obtain the best education possible.
Along with obtaining my college degree, I also have a strong desire to play and excel on the baseball field!! My athletic goal is to play college baseball at either a D1, D2, D3, NAIA, or Junior College level. The game of baseball has taught me how to fail and succeed, how to make friends for life, and the importance of continually working hard to become the best player that I can be. I truly believe I have the work ethic, mental and physical skills on and off the field to play college baseball. For me the season never ends as the off season provides me the opportunity to improve my skills and prepare for the upcoming season!
What makes me different than other recruits? I have been blessed with a driving passion for the game of baseball along with solid footwork catching, and the mental aspect of the game. I make very few errors while catching and my quick ball transfer allows me to have more accurate throws whether it is to 1st, 2nd, or 3rd base, which more frequently help's our team's pitcher to avoid long innings. I can aslo play 1st Base and Outfield.
