Personal Statement

My passion for baseball began when I joined my local team at 5 years old and it has continued to grow. I have played for many all-star and travel ball teams. I have been a leader for all of the teams that I have played for. In 2017 my team and I won state and we got 3rd in Regionals. 2019 I made the Northwest showcase and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. In 2020 I made the Baseball Northwest Championship team, I had the privilege of represent the state of Idaho. To add to this accomplishment, I also made the all-tournament team for 2023 and 2024 class. Through all of these experiences I have learned a lot about life through the game such as I have to be confident and stay composed in difficult situations. I am currently half way through my Junior year and I made Varisty baseball for my high school team. I plan on keeping a 3.5 or higher GPA through high school. I also have taken 2 years of foreign language. For college I want to major in Physical Science.

The Colorado Rockies, along with Pac-West Baseball, are supporting the Idaho Rockies Scout Teams. The purpose of this program is to provide some of the best players in the Treasure Valley and surrounding areas an opportunity to learn the game and prepare for high school baseball from some of the best coaches in the Treasure Valley. Our priority is simple: PLAYER DEVELOPMENT. We will cover all areas of the game; stressing the importance of fundamentals, proper drill work, repetition, team defense, game situations, and proper throwing programs. We will create a culture of excellence through hard work, toughness, and teamwork!

The Junior All-Academic game try-out is for baseball players that have NOT yet committed to play at a 4 year school yet (College or University) and have been invited to participate in the tryouts to be held the morning of September 23, 2021. Academic Game Requirements: (Must meet at least one of these criteria): Must have at least a 3.7 GPA OR an ACT score of 27 or higher OR SAT score of 1200 or higher

The Arizona Junior Fall Classic is one of the premier showcases in the country. Limiting the graduation year to Juniors makes the event a very good evaluation time for colleges to see players compete amongst their peers. The main focus of all of our events is to provide opportunities for all players to have a playing career after high school baseball. The format and scheduling have evolved into what has proven the best possible way for all of the players to showcase their skills for the colleges and pro scouts in attendance.

2021 Northwest Championships - Class of 2022-2024

The long-standing Northwest Championship Tournament is the largest event of its kind in the Northwest region, drawing hundreds of the region’s top athletes to compete against each other. It also draws the largest collection of college recruiters and professional scouts to observe a Northwest amateur baseball event. The 23rd annual Northwest Championship Tournament for the classes of 2022-2024 will be held August 12th-15th at U.S. Cellular Community Park in Medford, OR. This tournament includes Baseball Northwest hand-selected teams from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Utah. The tournament begins on Thursday, August 12th. ZAGS BASEBALL - UPPERCLASS PROSPECT CAMP

Camp Description: This camp is targeted for the high school player who is interested in playing baseball at the next level and learning the skills to accomplish that goal. Campers will experience top Division I baseball instruction in hitting, infield and outfield defense, pitching, and catching. They will also learn about the recruiting process at the college level and how to prepare for their future in baseball. The camp will include skill instruction and live games. The Gonzaga Baseball Coaching staff will all be on hand, for instruction and evaluation.
