Matthew Lewandowski '20 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has been one of the biggest parts of my life since I joined my first team when I was 5 years old. My dad, mom and brother have had a big impact on me and my baseball career. They’ve inspired me to push to compete at the next level  and ever since then I’ve been continuously trying to better myself not only as an athlete, but as a student. Throughout my baseball career, I’ve consistently competed to start at shortstop at all levels which has helped me grow to be a leader for my teams. Throughout high school, I’ve played baseball every year and I’ve worked to maintain a 3.5 GPA. My main goal throughout high school is to succeed enough to play for a division one college. When I move on to college, I intend to continue my baseball career and I am going to continue focusing on my education, athletics, and my future.
