My name is Jonathan Medina, I am a 2025 outfielder and attend St. Laurence High School. I have a 4.3 GPA, which I work very hard in the classroom to achieve good grades. I have been on A-Honor Roll every semester of high school. I work hard not only in the classroom but on the field to. I work hard every day because the next isn’t guaranteed and I want to get to my goals of playing college baseball. I see myself as a great teammate that looks to help improve the team before I improve myself. I am different than other recruits because I am an unselfish player and love playing the game with grit, whether it means getting hit by a pitch, stealing a base on a dirtball, hustling on and off the field, or sprinting to first base after a walk. I also have a very outgoing personality and I love to make new relationships with new people. All in all, I am a very hard worker on and off the field including in the classroom and I have a growth mindset as I always see ways to improve.
