Luke Mottashed '09 Recruiting Profile

I am a second year student athlete at Heartland Community College in Normal, Illinois. After my freshman year I had a CUM 3.125 GPA, started in 28 games with a BA of .344. I graduated from Cary Grove HS in 2009 and helped lead our team to it's first appearance to the IHSA state tournament in school history. My senior year as a co-captain I was selected as team MVP, All-Conference, All-Area, All-Region, All-State Honorable Mention, and Athlete of the Week in April. My highest honor was the article written in the Northwest Herald that recognized my dedication and determination by my coaches, my teammates, and the local sports writers. I am looking forward to continuing my education and athletics at Heartland CC where I can continue to improve my skills before moving on to a 4 year college. I would like to move on to a school where I can major in education while being an impact player for my team. I would like to play in a warmer climate and am willing to travel outside of the Midwest for the right opportunity.
