Garrett Moran '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing baseball my entire life, and pitching for most of it as well. I love taking the mound whether it is practice or a game and I especially love having the ball in my hand during high-pressure situations because those bring out the best in me.  Throughout my baseball career I have experienced success against older competition. I am a student of the game and learn as much as I can because it benefits me when I take the mound. I love the mental part of the game and I invest time into studying and comprehending not just strategy, but the mindset one should have when competing. Education and grades are top priorities for me which is why I aspire to continue my baseball career at a school that can challenge me academically and also bears a strong baseball program. I am a leader and a hard worker on and off the field and am very vocal, encouraging, and competitive.
