Jacob Frerichs '21 Recruiting Profile

 I have been playing baseball ever since I was 4 years old, and I have a love for the game.  I could be on the field 24 hours a day and not get worn out.  My goal is to be able to continue to play post high school.  I would like to stay in the Midwest area so my parents could watch some of my games, but I am also open to wherever I can play baseball.  I have been told that I have true talent.  I have attended personal coaching for only the past 2 years. My personal coach, Bernard Dzaflic Jr., is a former Minor League player. He has been impressed with my talent as well.   I have played in every position but enjoy center field and pitching.  I was a starting varsity player as a freshman.  My high school coach mentioned me specifically  in a newspaper article at the start of my sophomore year.  In my second high school game as a sophomore I hit an over the fence homerun.  In past 4 years of summer baseball I have gotten the highest on base percentage.  In my last year of SWIBL ball, I was second in the league for fastest base running.  All of my coaches tell me I am very humble and coachable.  I also do well in school.  I have been on high honor roll all this year and honor roll my freshman year.  I am looking to major in accounting or actuary science in college.   Thanks for your time!
