December 2015Personal Statement
After high school, I want to go to college to play baseball. To me, I'd be just as happy being a part of a team at a smaller school as at a Division 1 school, as long as I get to play baseball. I believe I am a good choice because I am a leader, but I also know how to take orders and listen up. I'm a hard worker, and will do whatever it takes to improve. I have played sports all of my life. I've struggled at times, but I've always put forth the effort to succeed. I'm a great student. I'm in honors classes and online classes with a 4.0 GPA. I respect my teachers and do what I'm told to do. I'm an FFA officer, and I'm very involved with my school. I've always had to work for what I have, never quitting, and getting it done. That's how I plan to continue in baseball, athletics, and everything else life throws at me. This season has started off great, as we are 7-0 and 4-0 in conference play. I am currently batting .450 with an OBP of .633 through 7 games with a home run and a double.
