My goal is to be a D1 baseball player at a top academic university. I am blessed with the athletic ability with the potential to be a top performer on my teams. I train 6 days a week on hitting, fielding and weight training. When I am not at team training, I individual train with coaches on my hitting and fielding skills and the rest of the time I am in the weight room to further develop my strength.
I want to be a winner and this makes me very competitive. I also know winning takes a lot of work so each practice, I focus on development and getting better. I keep going so that I can become a champion.
On and off the field, I have been recognized as a leader who leads by example. I encourage and cheer on my teammates. I like to view my work ethic as a model for our team and play hard during practice and games. I have a stong work ethic and I am dedicated to my results. I have a deep knowlege of the game of baseball and continue to learn from my errors and successes.
What I do off the field is important because that is who I am everyday. I focus on my grades and work to get the best grades as I want to attend a top D1 university. In addition to self-study, I work with a tutor twice a week to help me achieve my goals in the classroom. I know my grades are important to getting into a top university. Business is my focus as enter high school and I have already registered for Introduction to Business and Sports Management as my electives. I also volunteer at the local food bank and plan to use my free time to help others improve their lives. I attend church each week with my family and have enjoyed making new friends at church.
Thank you
